personalities got together for a special project for Y’s and Isetan.

“Women on the Move” gathered 41 working women from different

professions, generations and nationalities to undertake this special

project in collaboration with Isetan department stores.

Photographer Rowland Kirishima attempted to capture the instant burst of

 energy and positivity as a homage to all working women.

“For me, a woman who is absorbed in her work, who does not care about

gaining one’s favour, strong yet subtle at the same time, is essentially

 more seductive. The more she hides and abandons her feminity, the more

it emerges from the very heart of her existence...”
